Although I am new to StartupNation. I would love to join in! My wife has many skills that she can contribute (mostly clerical, among others). I also have plenty of skills myself.
I think it is a great idea! My wife also has an idea about how about we start a poll with the type of businesses that everyone comes up with. We could also just do a suggestion thread as well.
What do you think?

What a wonderful idea Jeff!  The hardest part would be to come up with a product that eveyone would agree on.  Count me in.  I can definitely provide the startup funding if needed.

Well, I have the coffee roasted......I visualized sending coffee to all the team, agreeing to consume a couple of cups before brainstorming.  somehow like using a virtual meeting ( some one using VISTA would have to be the meeting coordinator.) and conceiving a product or service.  The in another meeting, set goals, ect....I would participate and provide the inspiration fluids.. ( have a super great tea line too)

Wow! I just read through all 89 pages of posts. And now I find out no one has posted on here about the startup that was going on for nearly a year. Did it fire up or fizzle? Any other projects going on?

Thanks, MiteyMite, for the response. I guess I showed up a year late and a yen short.
If anyone is thinking about starting up any of the 5s (if you`ve read through this thread, you know what I`m talking about) let me know. It`s similar to an idea I`ve been hashing about for a couple of years that I`d like to take on, but don`t think I can do it all by myself.

I missed out on the first time around as the forum seemed to get hi-jacked by a few and most who were not interested to doing e-learning and a few other projects, missed out.

I`ll just throw it out there, I am onto a very hot topic and niche category in webcasting, with a great formula to generate revenue without advertising. I have the business plan almost finished, the prospects and PR channels,  the beginnings of a design for the site and a great name...all I need is a joint venture partner that has the web capabilities for hosting broadband, hopefully some capital behind them  (wishful thought, a girl can ask right???).

Perhaps this "BIG IDEA" could get you guys back on with a FRESH business startup....
