Independent Inventors Conference General Sessions to be Webcast
Annual Conference Set for this Friday and Saturday on USPTO Campus

The 2008 United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Independent Inventors Conference opens this Friday morning at the agency’s headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.  This year, for the first time, those who cannot attend will be able to watch a webcast of the Friday and Saturday general sessions on the USPTO’s website, www.uspto.gov. Log on Friday morning at 8 a.m. and follow the instructions to access the live webcast.
Those speaking at the general sessions include Commissioner for Patents John Doll; Thom Ruhe, Director of Entrepreneurship for the Kauffman Foundation; Julia Rhodes, a successful inventor and President of Kleen Slate Concepts; and Louis Foreman, creator and producer of the Emmy Award winning PBS series, Everyday Edisons. For more information about all of the speakers at this year’s conference go to http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/com/ii ... akers.html
The Independent Inventors Conference is co-sponsored by the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation. If you have questions about the conference or webcast, phone 571-272-8850.
