A little question about the liquor store

I am currently in the process of finishing my business plan. I am
interested in opening a beverage center (liquor store), beverage center
just sounds better I am trying to determine start-up costs. I running
into trouble, trying to locate the costs of alcohol, beer and wine. I
have contacted a few local distributions unfortunately they won`t talk
to me without a liquor license. Any help that anyone can provide will be
greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I am not familiar with this space, but I suppose my one question is, if this something you're dedicated to doing, why not secure your liquor license first? That way distributors will be able to speak with you about price.
