Need help finding easy way to get news on latest startup funding

I'm new to this. I've been looking online to find easy ways to get (twitter notifications, newsletters, etc.) every time a startup gets funding from any source (VC, angel, etc.). I've found a bunch of recommendations to follow specific investors and VCs on twitter, as well as other publications (techcrunch, fast company, entrepreneur, etc.). The problem is that so far the tweets have not been specific to my needs.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could get this info as it happens in a simple, direct and clean way?

Are you signed up for Google Alerts or Talkwalker Alerts? You are able to decide what specific keyword you are looking for and track it throughout the day. Both are free to use and can deliver emails to your inbox as things happen. You can choose to get these emails once a day, weekly, etc., as well.

For free services I'd subscribe to notifications from Crunchbase. CBInsights and MatterMark are the two most popular paid services that would have all startup fundings in real time. I know they have free features as well but they are not nearly as substantive.
