  On our site, a contest usually lasts 5 days, although that can be extended. After that, you have a predetermined time frame in which to pick a winner. During the contest, you can guide the designers with feedback and ratings to direct them to your design vision. Even after a design is picked you can do revisions until YOU are happy! Our designers don't get paid until you are happy and get the files you need.

  Graphicriver is a good place (forums) for designers wherein they can host logo, flyers, business cards design contests and all.

  I did one on 99designs and I was very happy with the result.
  
  I got hundreds of design submissions from maybe 20 to 30 different designers. definitely work checking out.

  The main difference with the other contest sites is that we make a selection on our designers, while most of the sites don’t.
