Hi, I'm interested in freight brokerage. My family and I have discussed this business opportunity several times and I have been doing research. As with many things there are mixed reviews and advice on the training. I gathered enough info on various sites that say training is not required, but it is an individual choice. I think I would training whether it be from a school, or hands on. Any advice out there from anyone on this matter? Most companies looking for agents/brokers require experience, so is it better to start your own business right out of the gate? Any help is useful, thanks in advance.

Starting a freight brokerage business is not that easy we all know that but if you have better experience with it you can put up a startup and then know your goals and anticipate some risks because there's always a risk when starting up a business. It will depend on you if you can start your own or work first in the freight industry to have more experience.
