Do you offer any services or products in your website?
Is it a tool you intend to make money with at all?
If yes, whats your target audience and what have you done so far to reach them?
Once deciding these you`ll find it a lot easier on choosing which way to promote the website and how.
Once you made your goals clear, and selected your strategy on how to achieve them, then it`s all clear from there, at least for the time being
