How do you "YouTube"... for dummies?

Okay, I`m extremely technologically handicapped. If one were to have DVR`d a show from the TV that they wanted to put on YouTube and link to their website, how would one go about doing this?

What makes your Chicken Pucker?
Love it! Leslie, hope you got the video down. If not, have you gone to your tivo and "copied to disc", After that...you better ask Nikole...Maybe upload to your computer..not sure if in right format and then save as a wave file and then upload? Also meeting with the client today and giving her your info on grill charms, her name is Susan Elliot, in case you hear from her.

Using YouTube is good to get the "word" out. But to embed into your website (if you want) I find Google video a better choice.
There are a number of places to post video. including yahoo video... http://www.dailymotion.com/us is good because they allow a larger image size and the quality of the video playback is better than youtube.
