Taglines can be important to support the logo, logotype or trademark
when you need to tell more about who you are and what you do. They are
not always necessary, but can be an effective complement. 
 

Types of taglines:



Descriptive- Describes the service, product or brand promise:
     "Your world, On time"Motivating- Commands action, usually starts with a verb:
     “Just do it”Evocative- Describes the brand promise:
     “A Diamond is Forever”Supportive- Gives substance to a mark or logo:
     "Architects for Education"Unrivaled- Positions the company as best in class
     “the Ultimate Driving Machine”Stimulating- Thought-provoking; frequently a question
    “Got milk?”
