so we have created a new social network introducing new things to let people enjoy. more like twitter and facebook in one. but we need ideas to gain more members and looking for help. how to keep the network alive and more opinions.

Spend a few hundred $m on marketing and hope for the best. Seriously, if you haven't got some kind of unique selling point or a vast sum of money you're not going to get anywhere.
Only "free" way I can see is encouraging current users to invite others, but you need some kind of incentive for them to do so.
