wholesale scams

Hey all! I`m new to posting on these boards but I`ve been lurking
for awhile. I`ve been mulling the possibility of opening an ebay
store (that bandwagon looks comfy!) so have been searching for
wholesale distributors. There are a ton online but I`m having a
hard time determining which ones are the real deal. Many seem to
be in China and other areas of Asia, which makes me nervous to be
honest. Is there any way of telling which are reputable?
Maybe something along the lines of the BBB? I appreciate any help
you may be able to send my way!

There are lots of wholesale product and dropshipping scams out there, and it`s just a matter of doing your due diligence. You`re on the right track by checking with the BBB - that`s one thing you can do. Other places you can check is Hoover`s (http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp</A>).
You can also check with others who have done business with the companies you`re interested in. Here are a couple of ways you can do this:
Contact the distributor and ask if they can provide customer references. If they can`t provide any or simply bawk at the request, you can probably cross them off your list.
There are online communities of people just like you who purchase wholesale products for their businesses - one is the Wholesale4um (http://www.wholesale4um.com</A>). There`s a discussion board there specifically for the purpose of asking others if they`ve dealt with a specific company.
Hope this helps!

I would like to ask whether anyone could kindly provide me with or help me find atleast one supplier contact details in USA or UK. I have been searching for nearly 6 months on the internet and some useless ebooks but no luck as I cannot find a reliable wholesale supplier for computer software. I require a wholesale suppliers which are "scam-free" as they say! I need information about wholesale suppliers of computer software such as Microsoft Office, Windows Vista, etc. Which offer very low wholesale prices with low Minimum Order Quantity (preferably one unit).
Can someone please help me as I am having a hard time with this issue?
I show my gratitude for the people who have read this and wish to take the time to assist me in my problems.
Thank you
