I have a great opportunity to be the exclusive USA distributor of an unique Italian womens shoe line.
I have experience in business but not this type and neither does my business partner. We got this great opportunity via our connections. The shoes are already being manufactured and sold in Italy. Our jobs are placing the shoes in stores here in the states, we were thinking of using distributors to place them in stores for us via their existing connections. ANyone have experience in this, any suggestions on what are the next steps to take?
Should we just go directly to retail stores ourselves or leave this to distributors who have prior experience.
