Looking for a reasonably priced web designer

I would like to take my business to the next level. I have a website that a college buddy of mine created; however, I want to make my website look more professional and add some features to it. I am willing to spend some money but don`t have thousands upon thousands of dollars. Does anyone know of any good web designers who would be willing to work with a small business owner? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

My website right now is www.historicalresearcher.com</A>, which does a good job of promoting my research services, but I am ready to add some content for the public. The most important part will be my ability to add content on a daily basis. Thank you for all being so helpful.

Inexpensive web designers are never a bargain. I have heard *so* many horror stories about commodity designers - and then the client pays twice - because they have to pay someone to fix their site. Stay away from bargain basement web designers.

It is important to determine/define what features/functions you`ll need for your site, your target market, and goals for your site. A discussion with a web designer should cover those topics.

They`re reliable and they have some great looking templates, and then if you need to, you can hire a designer from SUN to fill in the gaps so to speak.
