Protection of Colors

Colors can be an important aspect of trademark and trade dress law.  A recent dispute between Blue Cross & Blue Shield and American Express over "blue" used in association with insurance cards and credit cards shows that colors can be as important as the words themselves.  What colors do you and others in your industry use?  What do those colors mean to the consumers?
