We are a little start-up, in an embryonic stage, that is planning to enter the market in the near future. We have made significant improvements to our business plan, but still have a large number of problems unresolved. We are building a revolutionary and innovative platform that will focus on emerging artists, taking care of trading and hyping up their work. Which kind of channel do you think are going to work the best to spread the word? As we mentioned, we are low budget, and we would like to use channels such as blog and word-of-mouth the most we can.
Thank you.

The first site to visit for your would be DevianART where you can use forum to invite artists to your site. DeviantART is the biggest artistic platform gathering thousands of artists of all sorts from all over the world.
Also you can easily find blog of artists which very often visited by fellow artists. You can ask those artist whether they do not mind if you advertise your business on their blogs. As a blog to start with I can give you a blog of my friend artist named Igor who is an aspiring artist and possible can be interested in services you offer.
