I have a friend who is a voice actor, and we are partnering on an audiobook sales site. He will be producing high-quality recordings of public domain books like Pride & Prejudice, the Scarlett Letter, Huckleberry Finn, etc., and I will be creating a web site to sell these productions. I`ve purchased the domain www.CommuterAudio.com and am looking for ideas about how to market this site. We also need to make decisions about our pricing model. How much would you be willing to pay for a high quality classic fiction audiobook?

Seems like your focus is on the classics. Have you checked the other sites audible.com, Spoken Network, The Listening Zone, Kitabe, Simply Audiobooks, iamplfy, etc. can you find your classics there? If so, what`s their price? How will you compete while promoting your product as "the must buy" (may be the quality of your service/site) It can be done it will just take some work.
