What’s up with BABLEFISH???

Someone recently mentioned a program called "Babelfish." This is a translator program that allows you to communicate online with people that speak different languages. I do business with people internationally and only speak English.Have any of you used this product or some other translation software, how does it work, and how is that working for you? Thanks,Hubert

We have used Babel Fish (www.babelfish.altavista.com) before to translate emails sent to us by some of our eBay customers. It works pretty well, we do say. At least you can get the gist of what the person is trying to say.
Of course, no translation software is perfect. However, Babel Fish has worked wonders for us and it is free! We have also used it to translate our English emails into whatever language, and it seems to have done the trick. At least we have been able to communicate affectively this way.LizardWisdom10/16/2007 6:39 PM
