Have a great idea... no clue how to do it

I've read a lot about the tourist economy and how much money it brings in. It made me think about how much money AirBnb brings in and companies like it. I want to create my own service that has it's own advantage. Due to it being a smaller company, I'd take less cuts than the main stream services do because I'm willing to have no profits for the first few years. I want to have listings of rental properties and vacation rentals similar to the other companies. Am I heading in the right direction, and what should I do to make me stand out from the rest?
