Some questions about starting an e-commerce business

Hi everyone,

So I have had this idea for an e-commerce business and I would like to start it. The problem is that I live in Qatar, in which my idea won't be very acceptable here and so meeting the regulations might be difficult, therefore registering the business will be tricky. I wanted to ask if it is possible register the business in the US or anywhere else while am living in Qatar, and do I need a physical address there?
Also, do I actually have to register the business even if it's online or can I just open a website and start selling?
Note that my main target is the US.

You may registers your business at any where that will not effect your business.Main thing to be considered is you must have to target your customer that is the point.
