What all are the tips and tricks that you use to attract more customers to your store. I read an interesting blog recently http://www.newstylesigns.com/blog/attra ... nts-store/ .It talks about five methods which you can use to attract more customers. It includes making it shop easier to spot and more appealing for the customers, the social media promotions and all. I recently install a led sign board for my shop in Toronto. what are the tricks that you have tried? How much was the increase in visitors?

As far as I know, event marketing works very effectively to help attract more customers. The firm I've been working at cooperates with the guys from the event management agency ( http://proektainc.com/ ) to gain more customers. They arrange conferences, fairs, expos, etc where we can meet our target clients.

Go to other local businesses to offer to advertise their business in your business and you will do the same. (obviously not competitors,UNLESS you find a competitor who can do something you can't do and you can do something they can't do)

What David said earlier, number 4. " Always track your results". I'd say this is essential, for anything you do you need to track results, because if you don't and you fail, you are not going to know the reason for it. For me it's not a problem in failing, it is not knowing the reason why you failed. Cheers
