Hello everyone,On a late night search I found this board, with a glimpse I feel I might just come to the right place. First a little bit about myself: I`m Chinese and living in LA right now. Currently I am doing some online retail business. I import Chinese mineral specimens and turquoise rough/products to US but I don`t want to limit myself in this specific area. Try having a friend who specializes in International Law. That helps. With the current unemployment happening in America, I'll be surprised if I see many people wanting to work with Chinese to get more market share which will in turn add on to the job losses in the US.

Actually, I believe it's quite the opposite. I am in China now. Firstly, one person or organization importing, especially products unavailable in the US adds jobs to our economy. Once you have the product someone needs to sell it, someone who previously was without work. Secondly, the powers that politically influence our US markets don't exist, or at least don't work the same way here. The amount of "green" innovations I see here make me wonder what we are doing. Then I remember how much big oil spends on lobbyists. Anyway in my opinion it is a great way to help the economy in the sense of creating jobs.
