Firms to help decide on what business to start

I want to start an online business. However, I do not know what exact type I want to start. This is because I do not want to get in to a type in which there is too much competition. Are there companies that can help me before I spend money on a start up.

Make a list of potential types of businesses that you can start. Then make SWOT analysis for each of them. It is not difficult and you can save money.
