Great idea! It was really lonely at start but eventually, you'll get used to work alone at least you're in your comfort zone.

Like everything, there are two sides to working home all by yourself. You get the freedom but you also have to cope up with the loneliness

This is really interesting but not really I like the quiet time to get work done but we use slack and regular hangouts to keep in touch and not remain isolated.

Plus for colleagues who live close by we can informally meet up too, there are cafes and coworking spaces to use for that.

To be quite honest, I'm somewhat of a loner so I have never had a problem with loneliness. I kinda relish it, lol.

I have never really felt lonely working from home. Like many others here, I like solitude and freedom. Also, I always leave some time during the week to meet up with friends and socialize.

I can't say I'm lonely, but I find it difficult to unwind between or after work when I work from home. The trouble is that I don't have a big place, and I cannot divide what space I have into leisure/ work or study spaces. So when it gets hectic, it gets on my nerves. Anybody else face this issue? I work from cafes sometimes, but then I gotta order, and I can't really expect quiet, which is essential to edit research.
