Making Money With free Information Website

Hello all!
I am in the process of developing an educational related website that will offer free information. We will not be selling any products. We are expecting alot of traffic flowing through our site mainly from High school and College students. 
Our hope is to launch this site by Oct. 31.
My question is how do I get advertisments ads on the site?  What are my options? What else is out there?

Sponsorship is like Nikole mentioned above. Look around suns poscast area and you will see..."this is sponsored by" .Plenty of sites seek out sponsorships to aspects of their sites.

In addition to recruiting advertisers yourself, you can leverage the scale of a third party to do the work for you. I run ads on two of my sites with Google Adsense and Text Link Ads. With these services, you put some simple code on your websites and they handle the recruiting of advertisers and payment. In exchange for their services, they take a cut of the profits and then pass the rest on to you.
