A friend and I want to start an LLC and we live in different states (IL, CA).
I'll be doing most of the business-related work in IL, while they work on the product in CA. The initial customer base may be in CA with the intention of expanding nationwide and online.
Is there an advantage to establishing the LLC in Nevada?
Can we be our own Registered Agent initially and then eventually a hire Registered Agent once we establish a larger presence?
