- Hi my name is Steve and use to be an addict and then I got clean. well I went to a half-way House in Abilene Texas and I lived there for 7 years and when I left there I had all that knowledge of not just how to stay clean and all that, but also how to run a Half-Way house and so I hope that by being on this site I can maybe get funding for which I will be truly grateful that I could purchase an old motel or nursing home or school that I could remodel and open up to start a halfway house. Thank you very much.
