    The business plan isn't a planning exercise that you do once and then forget about. It need to be a dynamic document that is updated during the course of your company's existence.


    Setting and achieving goals and targets will take precedence over business planning once the enterprise has been launched. The most effective business planning is done on a regular basis that revisits ongoing projects and goals throughout the year, sometimes even weekly. Establishing a clear vision and creating a plan for your long-term success are equally as critical as revisiting your short-term goals periodically during the year.
