Instagram marketing for business
Hey everyone,
I just read through few different discussions about marketing on social media and I've seen many, many comments recommending going for ads, websites, influencers, email marketing etc. This is completely unnecessary at the start, you don't need to spend money on all these things.
I believe that everything you need to do to market your business on social media is to pick one platform and put your focus on it. Post daily, provide value and reach out to your target audience there.
There are plenty of amazing strategies to use to get in touch with your target audience on Instagram for free and learning them is way cheaper, easier, quicker than learning for example facebook ads which are recommended by many people here.
To sum up I wonder what is your experience with social media marketing:
- What are the 2 biggest issues you're dealing with on social media?
- Regarding growing your business on social media, what would you wish for more than anything else?
Thanks so much in advance - looking forward to reading your answers and happy to discuss your thoughts.

Good discussion, However social media marketing is so tricky! It can be frustrating if you dnt not have any plan!
The biggest issue is to create great content! Not copy! That takes hours of work. Another issue is to grow your social media. There are so many way that could be helpful! I found this article helpful, it might be handy for your purpose.
I also have a question, is it possible to promote my business on both platforms (Instagram and Telegram, for example), or it would be better to choose the one only?
really good discussion, very good strategy to start with one platform and focus on it after get some business move on other platform as well
For our business, we are working on this strategy through several platforms (Instagram, Twitter, and so on). I think the first issue that all businesses may face is creating good content. And how to get more exposure and followers must be the second tough issue to deal with. To be honest, I think it takes time to achieve both good content and more exposure as well as followers, and that's what those who are in charge of it should put all effort on.

The 2 issues I deal with is in the beginning when I started my business it was hard to know about the potential customers, I had to experiment with the type of content I like to post on different social media platforms because every platform works differently while marketing.
I would wish to have a stability on social media platforms, and I guess to do so you need to be consistent with the content and keep the targeted audience engaged with your content. Introduce your brand to a new network of potential customers and engage with your target audience with tailored social media campaigns.

Hello Peeps...
This is a really nice one, but you could have explained it in detail for a better understanding.

I completely agree that starting with one platform can be a powerful approach, especially for beginners. It allows for focused growth and deep understanding. While paid strategies have their place, organic growth and genuine engagement can set a solid foundation. Personally, my two challenges have been consistency in posting and dealing with algorithm changes. I wish for better organic reach and more transparent platform guidelines.

Hey there,
Istiaq here. You're speaking to my heart! I too believe that at the beginning, focusing and mastering one platform can do wonders. I started with Instagram, just like you mentioned, and tried to build a genuine community there before expanding to other platforms.
To answer your questions:
One of the biggest issues I've faced on social media is the constant algorithm changes. Just when you think you've got it figured out, they change it up! The second would be standing out in an oversaturated market.
As for what I wish for - probably a more transparent and consistent algorithm, and maybe tools or features geared specifically towards small businesses trying to grow.
Would love to hear other people's thoughts and experiences. It's always great to learn from the community.
Cheers,
Istiaq
