Hence you've to be wise to determine who can help you reach genuine people and help brand building. You should also check if the micro-influencer followers are genuine or not. Having high followers with no outreach will be a bad deal for you.
This is a brilliant move by any brand. The big influencers barely have any influence anymore.
Micro-influencers are definitely a surfacing facet of digital marketing. But it is not a great option for businesses that are looking to scale quickly.
