I just looked up some information, and depending on where your business is, there are some HUGE deductions and credits for electric cars.
I plan on adding solar panels to the roof of my video marketing company and purchasing electric company cars as soon as I can justify the expenditure. Unfortunately, I am in one of the states that has the absolute bare-minimum tax advantages for electric cars and most green technologies.
Does anyone know of a reasonably-priced electric car that has a range of over 100 miles per-charge? I am thinking of a car in the 30k-40k range. Teslas start at 60k, but that is too much to spend on a company car that interns will be driving.
Would love your suggestions!

I hope it's ok to resuscitate an old thread; just wondering what you guys feel about the kinds of research findings concerning electric cars. A simple online search tells us that there are pros and cons--as with any matter, of course. Yet, it feels quite strange that several researchers (who we have to think of as stakeholders) go after outcomes and effects classified as pros to argue that they are actually cons (in that these effects entail harm to various ecosystems.) The opposite happens just as frequently. Almost as if most research on the effects of electric cars is funded by interest groups. Nonetheless, it is beyond question that our consumption has deepened biomagnification. Our "consumption" is harmful also because of the waste we produce. Almost as if consumption equals waste.
