I was looking for a software development company and it seems that I've chosen one. It is Ukrainian software development company. So, do you have any experience with Ukrainian companies?

For me it was a good experience. Some issues appeared but I got a finished software product I was satisfied with for quite cheap

As the one, who works in the outsourcing business for the last 5 years, I can definitely say that there are always a good and bad examples of the teams (nonetheless Ukrainian or any others).I ve seen a lot of clients who suffered with the first experience of cooperation with Ukrainian teams, also I saw a lot good reviews. My experience has been very positive hiring Ukranian developers on Upwork. I live in Canada and speak no Russian/Ukranian so everything was in English, and I was impressed by the quality of their work (much better than other countries I've worked with like India, Philippines, Vietnam).
I'm from Germany and moved to Ukraine for 1 year to work on a project hands-on with them. As in a case of hiring a person in-house, you should very much consider checking multiple options. I have seen good and bad development teams in Ukraine. But overall, I prefer the Ukrainian work mentality over other (cheap labor) countries.
