    As the article mentions, think like site speed, 404 errors, not having alt text on images, etc., can badly damage your SEO.

    Don't forget blogging! A blog on the same domain as your website can really help to boost search results, as long as you are blogging for users, rather than writing content for search engines. Use that natural voice, outlined above. You want to write posts that are informative and (much) longer than 600 words. Don't fluff your content up, but always make sure you are offering great content that is straight to the point. Relevant links to other websites from that content helps too. A sustainable way of getting great results, plus you can use this content in social media.

    Blogs are a great way to boost SEO, and it also gives you another outlet for your inbound marketing strategies. Use top of the funnel keywords, and write about broad topics in your industry to attract new visitors. Make sure your article is helping solve a problem or providing good information on the topic at hand. And as you point out, relevant links to other high authority sites, and internal links to relevant pages/products on your site, is helpful.
