Email Marketing

Email marketing is the Internet version of direct mail. Instead of printing a letter or postcard to send to customers through regular postal mail, marketers use email applications to send their promotional messages. Email marketing can be as simple as sending basic text only messages full of content in the form of a newsletter, or they can contain complex artwork, graphics and links to websites. Not everyone who uses email receives it the same way, however, so if you include images in your email marketing messages, some of your recipients may not be able to see them.

Social Networking

Social networking has quickly risen in popularity with consumers and professionals of all ages and backgrounds. Some people use social networking websites to stay in touch with the latest news while others use them to chat with family and friends. Businesspeople use social networking tools to keep in touch with customers and sales teams, or offer special coupons and discounts. When managed properly, a social networking marketing campaign can spread great word-of-mouth recommendations between friends and associates and generate fast profits for your company.

Search Engine Marketing

Search engine marketing is the art of putting up a website about your company, products or services, and having that website appear on popular search engines when customers perform a related search. Search engine marketing can take time and effort to get the best results, but with focus and attention, a company can get their website into the very first position on major search engines such as Google.

Viral and Affiliate

Viral marketing and affiliate marketing are two similar approaches to spreading good words about your products and services. Viral marketing is part of the social networking strategy as well, and the goal is to get people talking to all their friends and colleagues about your products. Affiliate marketing encourages people to do the same by offering them a cash incentive. Affiliate marketers will work to promote your products and services on their own time and with their own resources, and each time sales are made due to their efforts, they earn money in the form of sales commissions. This makes affiliate marketers the equivalent of a viral independent sales force
