I wanted to mention that there are openings for design related positions (graphic designers/artists, web designers, writers, print etc.) at http://www.FreelanceHour.com.
Once you register (it's free), you can set an hourly rate for yourself and create 'Services' you can offer to anyone needing design work done. You can set your price for each 'Service,' upload samples/examples, and give details on what your offer includes. There are a variety of categories, but they all fall under Design & Graphics, Web Development, Online Marketing, and SEO.
