Obviously you should select a business to match your skills and background. it will be a excellent idea to look for advise from local business owners or business association to learn about the growth potential of various businesses in the area.

    Yes you are absoulutely true.
But these days, if we talk about universit students., they are eager to open up a software firm. The reason is simple, IT industries today are reaching at the top level and growng at a rapid spead. Also looking at the era , many venture capital firms have been established to help such students through university startups.

A business that you envision yourself owning. If you have a great business idea you are really drawn into and that you believe will make a big impact. This business could be inline with your skills or with what you love doing. It would be difficult to start a business if you have no passion to it or knowledge about it.

I would start by asking yourself what is the mission you would like to fulfill in a company, and tie it back to your own personal mission. A company and business becomes more than simply work when you make it greater than yourself. A powerful mission statement that acts as the global filter to your decision making will keep you focused on why you are truly in business in the first place, to serve a greater purpose!
