Hey, just wanted to make my first post on these forums a brief introduction...
I`m currently an Electrical Engineering student, very close to
finishing up my degree. I`ve had 3 Co-Op rotations with a very large
energy products and services company. I`ve worked on traditional energy
projects as well as renewable power (primarily wind turbines).
I`ve pretty much realized that sitting in a cubicle and reporting to a
hierarchy of middle managers is not for me. I have a bunch of ideas
floating around, but I`m hoping that reading these forums and
interacting will allow me to better organize my thoughts and hopefully
transform my ideas into businesses.
If you`d like to know more, simply ask, and I`d be happy to share. I look forward to getting to know many of you!
I currently reside in Raleigh, NC.

    Welcome to SUN!
We can totally relate with you not wanting to sit in a cubicle and report to middle management for the rest of your life! We have been there, done that, and totally know that we never want to do that again.
Taking the plunge into self-employment and cutting your ties with corporate life is one of the scariest things you can do in your life. However, it can also be one of the most rewarding steps you can ever take.
We wish you the best of luck and we feel that you have come to the right place to help you achieve your dreams!
