Staying Current

As most of you know, finding info these days is just a matter of searching the Internet. Just about anything you want to know is out there somewhere. But sometimes the time factor can kill ya.
One trick I have used for some time now is the Google News Alert feature. You give it specific key words, tell it how often to notify you, and relevent info on that subject (key words) is sent to your desktop. It comes to you instead of you spending your time seeking.
I have alerts set on numerous topics -many in fact. I have them come once a day. Yes, this is a lot of info but it takes only minutes to cull through the messages and determine what I want to dig deeper into or not. Great service and time-saver.
