Everyday Marketing

There are many posts here in StartUp about PR & Marketing, the economy, etc.
My premise has been to every day do something that puts you in front of people.
A typical example is the reaction a post on my blog last Friday.
I wrote an article entitled: What Immelt taught Jack about GE.
The number of hits on this particular article has been staggering.
What has also been heartening, is the number of sign-ups to my monthly newsletter, which I cannot help but think is connected.
Finally, I received an email from someone at GE today, asking about my consulting services and we are arranging a telephone hook-up.
Why such a big deal? I am based in Australia.
Business can be truly borderless if you show your value.

I am very interetsed in blogging as a promotional tool, so it is really helpful to see all of your blogs! Mine is literally in infancy, but I am hoping to get a lot of good content on there... I am trying to document my business growth since quitting my last job. It makes me sad to see so many people hating their jobs and wanting to quit, I am hoping to provide some sort of inspiration to others who are in the same boat that i was.
It`s really helpful to see great blogs, it helps guide us newbies! Thanks.

    here`s my

    blog

if anyone cares to look but it is not very "beefy" yet!

    Dale,
Why did you delete the link to your post? Can you put it back?
I never got to read it while I was traveling interstate.

Sorry, Ric. I deleted the link because I didn`t want to make it appear that I was trying to divert readers away from your blog and steal your thunder. Regarding doing something every day that puts your business in front of people. Here`s the link to What Did You Do Today? http://startupnation.com/forums/11098/1/1
