ideaDone! is a tool, created by two seniors in Computer Science at North Carolina State University, for a class being taught by Marshall Brain, founder of HowStuffWorks.com. The main objective was to start from a simple idea for a product and bring it to life!
In short, ideaDone! is a way for entrepreneurs to explore their local entrepreneurial ecosystem. What do we mean by explore? Well, say for example you have a general idea of what kind of business you'd like to focus on, say 'music', but have no idea what kind of 'music'-related business you want to start. Our tool allows you to branch off from your simple 'music' idea and see what businesses there are in fields related to 'music'. The idea is to be able to see what already exists locally so that you can create a business that will offer something different!
