My startup is Nara Gem - An online markeplace for diamonds and engagement rings. Check us out at: www.naragem.com
Nara Gem is a multi-platform service that brings more transparency to the diamond and engagement ring market.Many local retailers and private dealers rely on foot traffic and referrals for business. Often, buyers are first-time purchasers and have little knowledge in the jewelry industry. With few leads for that perfect diamond or engagement ring, many are left frustrated or overwhelmed. And online buying for a high ticket item leaves many people uncomfortable.
The Nara Gem team had an idea: to give soon-to-be engaged couples more control of the buying process while providing local retailers and dealers access to a larger network of buyers. Retailers will be able to visit Nara Gem, upload their inventory and have online exposure for online buyers. Potential buyers will be able to browse diamonds and engagement rings by price, specs, and locale to find the best deals locally.
