Hey guys, first time here. Heard about this from Duct Tape Marketing.
I just started an online business called HD Caricatures -  http://hdcaricatures.comI`m a digital artist by trade, and no one else has created art quite like this so I feel I`ve discovered something.  My site has strong search results when it comes to searching for HD Caricatures but since it`s a new term, it`s unlikely.  I want the results to be just as strong for when users search caricatures, digital portraits, kansas city, etc. Anyone have any tips or have you used Google Ad Words before? I`m considering trying it out for a month.  Thanks guys.Brandon Hill  / hdcaricatures.combhilldesign3/21/2009 12:13 PM

Yeah, google ad words is a great place to start if you need immediate traffic related to your terms. You can open an adwords account for $5 and bid on the position you want when someone searches for that term. Not sure how competitive the market is but i just tried to visit your website and ther eis nothing there as the url does not work

Thanks.  That`s weird, but did you use "www"?  It`s currently not working with that, but it works as http://hdcaricatures.com   Can you check again for me?  Thanks.

If that`s the problem, than this is definitely a priority for me to fix so thanks for the reminder.

Hi Brandon welcome to the community.
What`s interesting to me, looking at a couple of your examples, is that I seem to see this kind of thing a lot. Maybe only in X-rated images, though? For example, "Julia Roberts nude!" where they`ve put someone`s head on top of some other body?
LOL! Not that I`m cruising the porn sites every day...but there are also pics of George Bush supposedly doing something improbable. How is HD Caricature different?

Thanks a lot for the great information.  SEM is defintiely my next step in this process. HD Caricatures is different in that I`m providing a product to customers of their OWN caricature, not celebrities, or pornographic material.  All of the digital caricatures are of clients themselves who want their likeness portrayed for a gift, their family, or their branding. I have a higher level of response from people who want their own, because they can`t get it anywhere.  You`re right in that they can get a goofy picture of a celebrity pretty easily.  That`s where I`m aiming to be different.  bhilldesign3/22/2009 11:08 AM
