Newbie - Children`s Imaginative After School Enrichment Program

I am a wife and mother to 3 boys, ages 12 years
old to 12 weeks. With my first-born, I had to face a lot of
challenges pertaining to his development that turned into opportunities
involving the 3 As – arts, academics, and athletics making him a well rounded
young pre-teen. My 7 year old who plays in an unstructured manner,
has a vivid and wonderful imagination. In watching him play and grow up, I’ve
noticed that children are free. He has a free-flowing imagination at his whim. I
marvel at how he plays with the simplest things such as a cardboard box or
cylinder at length. It was through him and my pregnancy that I redevelop my
imagination that I thought atrophied. As adults, I noticed that we have become
more and more educated tending to use our imagination less and less. I then had to realize I had to regain my
child-like vision by changing my adult-like pondering from the rational to the
potential. The rational to the potential for me came about in the desire to
enrich children lives with methodologies that allowed them to reignite their
imaginative state. So in 2007, I gave birth to my company, eMAGYN (imagine),
and my son, Bryse. Due to us living in
the Age of Technology, children lives are inundated with negative images; therefore,
with eMAGYN, I’m providing a vehicle for children from all backgrounds to
imagine the impossible in allowing their reality to be birth from their
imagination as the Age of Imagination comes forth. All children were born to
create, but along the way, their way to invent or innovate is lost. eMAGYN is
here to help children who are programmed for mediocrity to dare to do something
new. Creative children become creative adults, and when their imagination have
no limits, there’s no limit to what they can achieve in life. With my new
enrichment venture, eMAGYN, I have finally realized the imagination is the root
of everything and the most powerful tool to succeed. People see eMAGYN as unconventional unlike the tutoring or normal
enrichment programs currently in place, so it has been slow going, but once it
catches on, it will impact not only children lives but adults as well. As a
child, I had hopes and dreams, and as I obtained more knowledge with learning,
my imagination dissipated. The hope we
had as children still lingers in us as adults if we can dream our worlds into
life. I’m a firm believer in Einstein’s
statement, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” I end on the note of my slogan: Imagination + Faith + Works = Reality
I`m still trying to find my way in promoting this business to local after school programs.www.emagyn.com
