Multiple Businesses

If you are starting multiple businesses, that are somewhat related but different enough to be considered separate, what are the pros and cons of creating a separate LLC for each as opposed to using multiple DBAs?

In my case, i already have a business doing freelance web design, and want to supplement my income with computer and IT services.
