What to expect from penguin update?

It is of course a blasting news that penguin has declared their new update affecting the entire SEO field. What all changes can we expect in the future? Will it affect the work we already completed?

    Google Penguin 1.0 version only focused on the home page and the contents on it. It focused on relationship of home page with those of the pages linking them. With Penguin 2.0 algo in action now, it would delve more deep into the site and would rank the pages with high domain authority to rank higher and better than other sites.
