How to get advertisers for your website or blog?
Hey there everyone,
I started a website, opensourcereleasefeed.com, a month ago and have had an increddible success with traffic growing exponetially daily. I am now at the point where I want to approach advertisers to place ads on the site.I already have two advertisers, new the marketing guys over at there, but how do I go about appraoching new advertisers? The scope is very large and there are many companies to contact. What would the community suggest? Email? Phone? All help and suggestions much appreciated.Kind Regards,Schalk Neethling

That`s what they do. David Jackson
Thanks,
Schalk
You`re quite welcome, Schalk.
Is Adbrite the best? No. Google http://clicksor.com
http://bidvertiser.com
http://chitika.com
http://adtoll.com

Try one service for a few months. If you`re not satisfied with it, switch to something else. Also, Google has written an excellent primer for ad placement. This information would apply, whether you use Adsense or another adserver service.

My pleasure, Schalk. Glad to help!

speedyeoh - Please drop me a mail at [email protected] with the details re: link exchange
Schalk, never exchange links with anyone whose site isn`t relevant to yours. It will hurt you in the search engines. Search engines are big on relevancy, and there`s absolutely no relevancy between your site and speedyeoh`s site that I can see.
David Jackson
No problem, Schalk.
