I have this idea of a new product and the component is all of the shelf part but with a bit of modification they serve a new purpose so my question is, can you sell this new device of which is not completely 100% "your creation"? Do you neeed some kind of license deal before you can sell? What is the level of breakdown you have to go through before you can call it your IP? Ground up from resistor level?
