I am wanting to move overseas in the next couple years for an extended period of time.  I would like to start a business that can be run from anywhere and regardless of location.  I would appreciate the opinions of everyone on various manners of business that could allow me and the family to "retire" and live in another country.

Then why don`t you take advantage of the resources you have and will do on both sides?  Anyway, not everybody`s got the advantage you have - overseas living experience.  Question is, how can you make a business out of it.

It really depends if you are ready for a major change in your life. Moving overseas might be a simple feat to go through but to make a living by setting up a business there could be a life-changing experience that requires a lot of work. Moving out itself is a chore with the packing, loading, storage, and settling down, and to have to think of developing a commerce is definitely nerve-wrecking.
