I have been reading alot on both.. I am still not sure which would be best? Thoughts suggestions? Its for a sole prop. pet grooming business..

I would say either one is good - just get out of being a sole proprietor ASAP.  If you`re running short on cash, go for the LLC at first. You can always switch later. Decide to incorporate later after doing more research and when you have a larger business.
 My husband runs an LLC and I have a C-corp. For an upcoming business that I plan to launch, I will probably make it a corporation also.

In CA, a S Corp works for me (retail store) because the state requires tax based on gross sales where in a S Corp, I am charged based on net income.  Be sure to check the tax requirements for your state.. talk to an accountant if you really want to be sure.
