Hello,
 
Can a person really make money from blogging?  Has anyone ever tried the Google Money System?  See nickgetsgreen.com for more info about this. It seems too good to be true.

As I`ve heard and believe it to be true - the only people making money off blogging/adsense are the people selling other people courses on how to make money.

There are many blogs online that you can use to find out how to make money with your blog. My personal favorite right now is ProBlogger.com but there are others you can google to find that are worth reading. 
One word of advice. The one page, hard sell blogs usually have nothing that you can`t find with a little reading and googling around. Building a profitable website is a process, not an event.Good luck.

I know this is a very late reply but to answer the question, well yes but it depends if you are doing it right and you know what you are doing you can make money from blogging. I find that adsense and blogging is a two way street.

At the bare minimum you can make enough money to cover all the costs of running your site.

On the other hand, I noticed that users are less happy with the website when they see advertisements. It also has the potential to turn new users away fairly rapidly.

This isn't quite blogging, but I have a good friend who makes money as an online writer.

Even if you can't make a living off your own blog, it can be a good way to keep your skills sharp and will work as a CV of sorts. If you can show you're a capable writer to other paying websites then it's possible to make a living from that.

There are plenty of good resources out there for websites looking for writers too. (And not all of them Upwork and their ilk).

the most important thing is your blog's subject, the second is your content and traffic you get each day. But I think now making money blogging is not easy, you should making money by another mmo method like shorten link, or mmo from youtube. That's my opinion!
