Oy! Web Troubles

I was hoping there`s someone out there with a fix for a problem we`ve been experiencing in a web project I`ve been co-developing.Essentially, we`re creating a web page that will allow visitors to surf and rate websites using a "toolbar" in the header. The problem is a few websites will totally "wash out" the header and the user can no longer access the toolbar.According to my web partner, there`s a script on those sites that allows the page to extend the entire area.Ultimately, my goal is to allow the user to remain on the site, but easily navigate to differnet sites. And this just ain`t doing it.Any idea how we can fix this?The Swaynester

Unfortunately, that`s beyond my personal expertise. We leave it to the
programmer here to solve those problems. Sorry couldn`t help!

Hey Brian--It`s a framed page, I believe. Not an actual toolbar, which is something that we`re thinking about down the line.Pretty sure about that.

I think that`s exactly what he said, Brian.My web guy has been helping me on his own time (he has his own consultancy biz), so when I get a hold of him, I`ll see if he`s up for sharing the dev site.I appreciate the offer!We may just put this out in beta form and get some feedback.

Most likely the offending page contains a script that checks to see if
it is  contained in any frames. If so, it replaces the top frame
with itself... and bye bye toolbar.
